What does PEMF Therapy do?
Guided PEMF Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (or PEMF) utilizes electromagnetic currents to regenerate cells. Much like a battery, the human body is electric. Our cells carry voltage. The cells in our body degenerate over time due to trauma, illness and aging. PEMF repairs these cells to allow them to function at an optimal level.
What do you use PEMF for?
The FDA approved PEMF for the following:
- 1979: healing of non-union bone fractures
- 1998: urinary incontinence and muscle stimulation
- 2004: healing for cervical spine fusion patients
- 2006: depression and anxiety
- 2011: brain cancer
While the FDA has limited approvals, PEMF has shown to be successful in the treatment of many disorders not listed in their approvals.
Common Benefits of PEMF:
- Cell regeneration
- Arthritis pain relief
- Improved circulation via vasodilatation
- Relief of chronic and acute pain
- Increased range of motion
- Improved nerve function with neuropathy reducing symptoms.
- The beneficial effects of Guided PEMF are often experienced after only 1-3 treatments. Some clients report immediate pain relief, improved range of motion, nervous system relaxation, and a general sense of well-being after the first treatment.
Does PEMF work?
Although PEMF therapy may seem like a novel technology, it has been safely and effectively utilized across America and Europe for over five decades. PEMF therapy is supported by more than 7,000 studies and clinical trials, including those from NASA, that have demonstrated the advantages of PEMF.
With Electrons Plus, the practitioner can use their hands to guide an electromagnetic pulse field (PEMF) into the clients body, thereby stimulating the healing process. The assessment of tissue health using this technology is what makes Electrons Plus so different to other PEMF machines. The practitioner can feel and observe where to treat. Healthy muscles and tissues will twitch when it responds to the PEMF. Muscles that are un-reactive indicate blockages of Nerve flow, or energy.
Why is Balance Assessment important?
- 25-30% of Adults 65 or older fall each year.
- 50% of Adults 80 or older fall each year.
- Falls are one of the leading causes of death for the elderly in the United States.
ZIBRIO Stability Score is better than current clinical practices at predicting falls before they happen.
